We have been in contact over the past few months with school boards, administrators, teachers, and the Banff Centre to discuss the feasibility of holding a 2022 festival. We are also aware of the Covid-19 numbers in Alberta and the recent provincial Covid-19 regulations. Considering all factors we have unfortunately come to the conclusion that it is not possible to present our festival in 2022. Please check the web page in early 2022 to find updated information on the possibility of a 2023 festival.
We hope for a more normal 2021/22 school year where music students are allowed to rehearse and perform together. Covid-19 has been a challenge but let’s stay positive as we welcome students back into music and once again have music as an integral part of their education.
